Cookie policy.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small file that the browser stores when you visit a site. It is used to remember information between pages or visits (language, session, preferences).
2. Types by owner and duration
- First-party. Managed directly by grosglobal.com.
- Third-party. Managed by a different provider (for example, Google Analytics).
- Session. Deleted when the browser closes.
- Persistent. Kept for a defined period.
3. Cookies we use
Three categories. Necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing only load if you accept them.
Necessary (always on)
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| gros-lang | Remember your language preference | 1 year | First-party |
| gros-cookie-consent | Store your cookie choice | 1 year | First-party |
Analytics (opt-in, denied by default)
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | User identifier for Google Analytics 4 | 2 years | Third-party (Google LLC, US) |
| _ga_* | Session state for Google Analytics 4 | 2 years | Third-party (Google LLC, US) |
GROS does not load Google Analytics 4 today. When activated, analytics cookies will only load if you accept them in the banner.
Marketing (opt-in, denied by default)
No marketing cookies are active today. If we add advertising pixels in the future, you will see them in this table and they will only load if you accept them.
Third-party cookies · Calendly widget (activated on request)
When you click the “Book a meeting” / “Pick a time” button anywhere on the site, the Calendly popup widget loads from assets.calendly.com and calendly.com. Calendly itself sets the following cookies in your browser. They are only set if you decide to book a meeting: if you do not press the button, no Calendly assets or cookies load.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| _cf_bm | Cloudflare bot management on Calendly infrastructure | 30 minutes | Third-party (Calendly LLC, US) |
| _calendly_session | Booking widget session | 21 days | Third-party (Calendly LLC, US) |
These cookies are considered strictly necessary for the operation of the service you actively triggered, so they are not part of the granular cookie banner (AEPD/EDPB criterion for widgets activated on request). Clicking the button is unequivocal expression of your intent to use the service. If you do not want them to load, do not click the button and use info@grosglobal.com as an alternative channel.
4. Consent Mode v2
We use the Google consent system. By default, all opt-in cookies are denied. When you accept in the banner, they update to granted. If you never decide, they stay denied.
5. How to configure them
You can change your choice at any time from here:
You can also delete cookies from your browser settings. Here are the official links:
6. International transfers
Analytics cookies imply data transfer to the United States (Google LLC). The transfer is covered by the standard contractual clauses and by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More detail in the privacy policy.
