A UGC is the video that talks: a person gives their opinion, shows the product, explains its features or applies it. With AI it is produced with no shoot and no casting. The person speaking is a character created for the piece, not a real customer.
This is how we do it at GROS.
What it includes
Voice, music and character are included. The person speaking is part of the piece, not a separate service.
The first thing to decide: one piece or a series
A single UGC is produced with a face created for that video. It works for that video.
If you want a series, with the same person in all of them, that is something else: an AI Model. It is your own exclusive character that repeats across all your content, and nobody else can use it.
What we ask you for
- What it has to say. The script or, at least, the points you want covered.
- What the person speaking has to be like. Age, profile, whether they should look like your customer. It is what makes a UGC work or not.
- The language. It has to be known before the text is written.
What helps
- UGC references you like. A link conveys the tone better than an adjective.
- Where you are going to publish it.
- What you do not want said. It is often more useful than the list of what you do.
Vertical or horizontal
It is decided before starting. The video is born in one format, and taking it to the other means producing it again.
What it is used for
In cosmetics and in food, so that someone shows the product and tells what it is like. In Real Estate, so that a character tells the camera a piece of news, a development or a service of your company.
How it is delivered
In a private online gallery, as MP4. You review it, ask for changes and download. Every project includes two rounds of revisions.
See it
The cosmetics catalogue has an example UGC, and on the cosmetics and food and drink pages you can see it next to the other videos. If you are unsure between a UGC and another type of video, we explain it in AI product video: from 360° to the spot.
If you want to see it with your product, book a meeting.
